Talking about how reporters and fans feel. "We all want to be Redskins fans in March (spend like fools in FA), Arizona or Cincy fans in April (#1 picks in the draft), and Pats fans in December and January."

Very well said. I don't think alot of us are so much worried that we're not making a splash in free agency, we're just bored off of our a$$es!!

Great line by Curran, but even him and Steve Burton concede that if we were to now lose Adam Vinitieri, the mood will grow darker.

    Darkness falls...

Get ready. We haven't retained a single FA yet. What is the evidence that AV will be different.

:agree:Yes I think that way also, plus much of us have a Red Sox mentality were if we don't get the best free agents then our rival(Yankees) will. That is baseball were that can and does make a difference. This is the NFL were the Patriots and Steelers prove that is not the case.

On top of the ones that Pats1 mentioned, here are two more.

    Bam Childress, Michael McGrew.

Yes, they do really count. Both were ERFA. And the Pats could have let McGrew walk after the season since he spent it on the IR. They didn't. They went out of their way to keep him.
