What a great article on Dante Scarnecchia. Sorry if this has been posted already. I've always liked him as a coach and think of him as one of the best Offensive line coaches in history. But I didn't realize the guy was that much of a survivor in this league. 24 of the past 26 years on the Patriots coaching staff? A part in all 5 Super Bowls.

I'm sure he must of felt like that bodyguard from Scarface(Parcells} after Tony just whacked his Boss and then asked him to come work for him.
Funny quote at the end from Meyer at the end too.

Scar has flown under the radar for so long, it's now his preference. His contributions are impossible to quantify. Great article.

    Agreed.

I loved the line "He told me, 'I don't know what you're going to coach, and it's probably going to be a crummy job, but you've got a job,'" recalled Scarnecchia of Parcells. Can't you just hear Parcells saying that in his own voice in your head?

    I've said this here before.
But i want to say it again.

What have we done to deserve Dante Scarnecchia?
