*All salaries for players with four or more years of experience AND who sign contracts that qualify for veteran's exemption will only count $425,000 against teams' salary caps.

The NFLPA site is showing only 1 year $585,000. Haven't seen any contract details posted as to any signing or workout bonuses, and there may well not be any. If that's the case it's a veteran minimum contract.

Not directed at you specifically Pats1, just saying ...we have so many duplicate threads (or more) lately they are pushing existing threads down or off page one to restart discussions that have already often been extensively covered.
I wish IAN would empower our Mods to do some basic thread merging. It gets really silly (and for some confusing) here at times and the draft will only unleash another round of emerging lurkers and newbies as well as longstanding members intent on trumping each other with breaking news or highlighting their POV via starting seperate threads rather than posting their opinions in existing ones.
FWIW - Gramatica displaced a player with a $350,000 salary. All of the players with a $275,000 salary have not been in the Top 51 for awhile now.pats1 said:He also most likely displaced a player with the $275k rookie minimum salary on the Top 51 list, meaning the total team cap number gets adjusted again.

Kicker Martin Gramatica inked a one-year contract worth $585,000. The deal doesn't include a signing bonus. It does include a $6,160 workout bonus. The pact is a split contract, meaning Gramatica gets paid $275,000 should he suffer an injury.

Burgess said:Actually didn't he really displace a player with a 2.5 million salary?
pats1 said:Not on the Top 51 list. Adam has been gone from that since early March.

Burgess said:What would have happened if AV suddenly went off the rails or got hurt? Going batty for no apparent reason does happen to kickers and he is frisky in coverage.
Miguel said:FWIW - Adam was never on the 2006 Top 51 list
You mean like Martin Gramatica? He hits 82.0% (110/134) of his FGs his first four years in the league and only 60% (27/45)the last two???Miguel said:Please provide a couple of examples.
