like i said..all along..he probably wasnt satisfied with being mainly the blocking guy
Georgia? Felger is a dope once again, Graham was a TE at Colorado not Georgia.
um its Ben Watson talking .. about Graham..
You need to improve your reading comprehension skills, patsfan13!
There are two reasons Graham has not been used more as a featured
receiver. The first, of course, is that he is a terrific blocker. The
second is that he dropped a lot of passes in the past, many when
he was wide open in key situations.
he hasnst dropped many passes in past 2 years..Watson has his drops and hes not nearly as good a blocker and hes starting over graham
Ancient history. By your logic, Ben 'Drive Killer' Watson should never see another pass.
Considering that the sentence was a quote from Watson regarding himself and not Graham, Felger isn't the dope here.
Except that was 2 and 3 seasons ago. In his 3rd season, he had 2 dropped passes total. Graham's worked on his hands quite a bit.
I agree that the Pats need to use Graham more. Particularly on Screens. The guy is a monster and it ususally take more than one person to get him down.
yeah. remember the Atlanta game. was he a beauty there
He made a few unbelievable diving catches in the last few games of the season.... Very impressive.
To me, he has to stay healthy.
He has some amazing catches and usually on 3rd down and used up the center .
I respect Watson for articulating this, because as the "receiving TE" in this offense the bulk of Graham's catches would likely come out of his quota.
Thanks I am a dope, should of realized they were quoting Watson, my bad!
That's okay. Fleger is still a dope, even if it was Watson speaking.
I do think that the team is reluctant to invest a lot in him because he does have a lot of injury issues. It seems like he misses several games every year and doesn't he have two bum shouders?
With that said I really like Graham. Tough as nails and made some beautiful catches this season.
Graham has great hands and havent really seen him drop passess, maybe a couple of times but nothing to be concerned about. Ive seen recievers drop more balls and thats there primary job.
He dropped a lot of balls as a rookie but he has developed into a very reliable receiver. He's really gotten over the dropping problems he had early in his career.
He has been reasonably healthy, playing in 63 out of a possible 80 games in 5 years and played in every playoff / superbowl game.
He is a class guy, smart, physical, good pass catcher, great blocker, team captain - we really need to keep core guys like this.
Who will Brady smash helmets with if we lose him???
Separate names with a comma.
