Where the GOP could get dirty | Salon News

The same week Van Hollen brought suit, the McCain campaign sent out a mailer to hundreds of thousands of Wisconsin voters that included a state application for an absentee ballot stamped with the address of a local clerk. Many of the clerks' addresses did not correspond with the places the mailers were sent, according to a Sept. 12 article in the Wisconsin State Journal. The mailers encouraged voters to apply for absentee ballots in places where they were not eligible. The McCain campaign said it was a mistake.

I don't think anyone is in favor of supressing the vote. Equally interesting to me, though, is people voting to raise taxes on others. Should the masses, say the bottom 75%, be able to vote that others should have their taxes raised ? It's a difficult concept for me to agree with. If someone votes for a tax increase they, themselves, should be subject to it. I consider this to be representation without taxation and it seems inherently wrong.

    Wow, real impressive.

With all that Barbara Streisand money you can buy a LOT of mindless do-do birds happy to turn out for free beer and sandwiches, like in Germany. Ask ACORN. Zig heil.

That's why the rich need to trick the poor and middle class into voting Republican (because it is more "patriotic") even though they would be better off voting Democrat.

We all have the same tax code. Anyone like Joe the plummer can go from making 47,000 to 280,000 over night, so it applies to all equally.

With the advent of the welfare state we see five decades of corrosive deterioration of American moral infrastructure, with generation after generation of people EXPECTING to receive their welfare checks, food stamps, and increase with each illegitimate birth they have. So now there is a virtual "welfare nation" in America which Obama is tapping as his hard core base.

The rich and the celebrities at the top are rolling in dough and their millions are all safely stashed in tax-frees or overseas, the poor at the bottom are waiting for their next check, and the working class in the middle is getting squeezed yet again.

This is like ancient Rome, where the monied class lives high above it all, as it pleases, goes where it wants, doesn't have a care in the world except what the temperature of their champagne is; the lower class lives for hand-outs, the "bread & circus" games at the Colosseum, gladiators and Christians being fed to lions.

Who cares??, they said. Let's get drunk, get high, screw and just enjoy!!! Orgy time!!

Meanwhile, the Visigoths watched and waited for the opportune time. That time came. Then they struck. With deadly and final accuracy.

China, Russia, militant Islam: which one does NOT want to see America take the fall??

Obama nation is one of the very limit of extremes: the super rich celebrities at the top and the very poorest at the bottom. The celebrity class knows they do not deserve the super rich status they have -- Madonna, Oprah, Barbra Streisand worth $ Billions? each??? -- so their rich "guilt" makes them say "raise taxes", even as they hide their wealth in overseas accounts and tax-free funds.

Obama is running the most deceitful and deceptive campaign in the history of America. He silences his critics and won't answer questions. He now arrogantly presumes he is "entitled" to higher office just because of his race, NOT because of the content of his character. He is doing all this because he believes his "uncle" and far-out preacher, Jeremiah Wright: "God DAMN America!!! God DAMN America!! The chickens are coming home to roost."
