The debate is in Orlando and the last poll I saw had Perry with a lead over Romney in Florida. This article gives some insight on what will go down tonight.

What is the over/under on Ronald Reagan's name being mentioned tonight? I'm going to go with 5 and I'm taking the under. This is Florida, not California, so the Reagan ball washing will be low.

Yep....good ole' Rick....governor of the first state to pass a law granting in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens.

Why last year alone A total of 16,476 illegal immigrants received the reduced tuition in the 2010 fiscal year, about 1 percent of the students at public universities and community colleges.

In-state tuition averages about $7,100 per student, compared with about $17,000 for students from out of state, Chavez said.

Every time I hear Ronnie's name invoked by the right I crindge, when he was prez he was intensely disliked by the right.. but when he started to chase butterflies, the myth began and grew and grew.

At best he was a below average president, who raised taxes something like 4 times, siognificantly increased the national debt, granted amnesty to illegals in 1986(which many credit the opening of the floodgates if illegal immigration) and commited several impeachable offenses (Iran Contra & Negotiating with Iran over the hostages before he was even elected)....

If Reagan did what he did today, post blogosphere, he would have been run out on a rail..

I started this thread http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/12/764795-ronald-reagan.html in June and the usual suspects came to his defense the deflected to Carter.

I hope the GOP Presidential candidates stop talking about him. America was a different place in the '80's. We even had a strong manufacturing base back in those days.

I keep hearing this lie repeated. It's so old. Wouldn't the lefties have kicked Clinton out?

Serious question. Why would the "lefties" have wanted Clinton kicked out?

Thanks for posting - I never know about these in advance. Now I can watch one (or try to).

Johnson being in is an added bonus.

Johnson being in is good but the Fox criteria for being included in the debates is suspect. I'm sure Johnson will be asked 2 questions. The debate is going to be about Romney/Perry and maybe Bachmann or Newt (a friend of Fox) might get some questions.

Cain, Santorum, Huntsman? Not going to get much time in this debate. Would like to hear more from Huntsman as I like the guy and some of his ideas.

That's funny, considering there are national Democrats in the party RIGHT NOW who would be sympathetic to those positions.

The Defense of Marraige Act was a joke. States have been overriding that law for the last 10 years or so.

Somalia and Kosovo? I don't recall Clinton invading those places.

Clinton ran for President on welfare reform. If I'm not mistaken he vetoed a couple of bills before signing the last one.

Once again, why would the "lefties" want to get rid of Clinton?

Vegas has the line set at a baker's dozen.

Whats the over under on how many times I spit my drink out from 'flabbergastation' (copywrite HD 2011) from the stupidity of the candidates, and the crowd put together?

BONUS WAGER: Will Rick Perry say something more insane than his global warming/Galileo comment?

Gainzo's line is set at 5 as Vegas is being way to generous! You can place your bets at (781) 555-5555.

The Gainzo betting agency is setting the "job creator" over/under line at 22.

As I pointed out to you in another thread, this sounds like Obama -- who is, I believe, a Democrat.

Who are the national Republicans following Reagan's lead and advocating increased spending, increased taxes of any kind and amnesty for illegal immigrants?
