The Commissioner just arrived, and a couple members of his entourage were clad in NYG gear. Hmmm....

You do realize that his family lives and hails from NJ near the gaints stadium right?.

he might have to be neutral as NFL is neutral not his 2 daughter and family?.come on its just a game and being a fan of your home town is not a criminal act.

Oh come on guys, not everyone in the world is a Patriots fan. Let's just enjoy the game. There has been more than enough negativity to go around lately.

Hmmm...we might have a conspiracy. He wanted his team to win so he allowed Tyree to use stick em but only on his helmet.

Hometown isn't New York. He's a transplant there from working at the NFL offices.

His family is from Western New York, they are Bills fans.

Father was a US Senator, things all over Buffalo are named after him. Father was a Republican who nonetheless helped take Nixon down during Watergate.

Father was a stickler during Watergate, and now we have Goodell trying to fill his father's shoes and make the old man proud.:rolleyes:

FYI- i was at the SB and a few feet from Roger as he entered the red carpet for the NFL sponsered Tailgate party. As he passed the crowd he looked at a fan and as the fan said "Go Giants", Roger said "Go Giants". Someone quickly made a comment and Roger quickly said he was only repeating what the fan said.

I heard this with my own ears and I get them cleaned every year. I would assume he was def rooting for the Gmen.

Who the hell cares? There were rumors before Goodell was hired that Johnathan Kraft was a candidate for the position. Do you really think if he became commissioner that he would stop rooting for the Pats.

Are you really surprised after how he screwed the Pats all year. However i think Kraft will be getting the last laugh on him when the scores are settled.

I wouldn't worry about it unless he shows up in Rams gear. ;)

He and his family hail from the Buffalo area and he started his NFL career working for the Jets.

Just wait until he's in the Giants t-shirt with the Colts briefs ... if you think he doesn't get wood on that one your mistaken ... why do we call Goodell by his name? His real name ought to be Polians' Boy.

i don't give a flying f-word what Goodell's "entourage" wears. i don't care if Goodell spent last night effing the Giant's Cheerleaders, one by one. right now, he's the only thing standing between the patriots and the hordes of fans and media who want to bring them down. he's insisted on fairness in this process. he destroyed the tapes to save the league (and patriots) further embarassment. he didn't believe the idiot Walsh the first time he came forward. he stood up to Arlen Specter to the extent that Specter backed off his plans to ask for hearing. let his bagmen/women wear whatever the heck they want.
