Goodell on 60 Minutes....

It's highly possible that 60 minutes producers cut the segment in a way that told a story the guy wasn't trying to tell.

OK...so there's a little Pollyanna inside my 6' 3" frame....I'd have thought they would at least dig a little deeper....I knew something was rotten when the host said "Roger got his start as an intern in the NFL offices"...uh...that would be a resounding NO...he got his start as an employee of the NY Jets...I HAVE the hard copy proof of this here in my home office. After the years of painstaking digging by Patriot fans here at Patsfans, all this material was stickied up top.I personally sent hundreds of e-mails to Boston sports media AND the NFL offices on Park Avenue in NY asking WHY this connection was never revealed...the result is a complete revision of the Wikipedia bio that NOW shows that Goodell STARTED as an intern for the league...THEN interned for one year with the Jets...and THEN went back to work for the NFL. Never mind I have the hard copy printout from Wikipedia stating his first job was an intern for the Jets....NOW Wiki has THIS timeline on its page...and every link to Goodell's history NOW links to THIS bio on Wiki.

Now think about this...I have his bio as "began as intern for the NY Jets and left after one year to work PR in NFL offices"...THAT is what EXISTED 2 years ago on the Wiki bio. NOW, it says, well, he worked a year for the NFL...THEN left to work one year for the Jets...THEN came back to the NFL...and the rest is history. How many of you people out there have ever heard of a job timeline like this??.."Yeah, so I worked for IBM for a year and then got a job at Best Buy and then I went back to IBM and now I rule the world"...right...this is so friggin' arrogantly transparent it could only have been dreamt up by Omissioner Clouseau himself. If I didn't have a stuffed folder filled with "Spygate" articles I never would have guessed this had happened.

Looks like it's back to the letter writing campaign for Joe Kerr...as a lifelong NFL fan and monetary contributor to this business enterprise I want ANSWERS....you can't fake 1040's....where was his REAL first job??? I think we have that right to know once and for all.

You clearly have a lot of energy and passion...do something useful with it.

I hope most of you out there get to watch this....unbelievable...this man LIES through his teeth on a national news program...the first 3 minutes of this segment are the most blatant attempt at obfuscation by a media personality in American television history...presented to the American public as F-A-C-T....I'm stunned.

Invoking the name of Johnny Unitas...claiming the Colts as the team of his youth...bringing up "memories" of he and his dad, Charles, attending Baltimore Colt games every Sunday....holy jeezus....delivered with a straight face...even claims Dad was a season ticket holder...which he WAS...at NY Jet home games!!

I can see now why the owners re-upped his contract for the next 9 years....he is,without doubt, the best straight faced LIAR in any business anywhere in the U.S.

Fact: Roger Goodell went to high school in Bronxville NY, Westchester County..an hour NORTH of NYC

Fact: well known for his largesse with classmates,taking them to home Jet games where they viewed the contests from Senator Charles Goodell's box...what, the Jets played the Colts every week he was in high school??? He was actually in Baltimore at Colts games while his friends in NY where he lived and went to school and played sports went to the Jets games in HIS father's box??

I mean...HOLY SCHNIKES!!!

Anybody who doubts that Roger "I bleed green and white and not just because I have the clap" Goddell is a huge Jets fan is kidding themselves. The man is all about the JETS, always has been and always will be.

Just know that these last five weeks had to be torture for Goddell knowing that we are playing in the bowl and the Jets are at home and arguing amonst themselves. Can we get McElroy to do a pre SB interview, I loved the last interview he did.
