Watched last night as Cairo went into street-fighting mode on TV. Haven't seen anything this morning ("this evening," there,) but it looks like the peaceful rallying is over and the streetfighting is here, until such time as Mubarak runs out of recruiting money (not likely) or it becomes readily apparent how over it is.

Dangerous time to be an Egyptian, as Mubarak tries to prove how dangerous it is to be without an autocrat... or more to the point, to have one, who's falling.

This morning I read the military is separating the pro-Mubarak from the anti-Mubarak forces. A week ago, I read that the military is not strongly on Mubarak's side, and that's why he's relied mostly on the police (and thugs as of late). Hopefully, Mubarak will step down soon.
