Honestly, this is the game that I think every team looks forward to! I've been salivating at the oppurtinity to play you guys! Last weeks Steelers vs. Jaguars game was a worthy start of the play offs, and I enjoyed it emmensly, even if I nearly had an anxiety attack...

Anyways, Good luck and let's hope for an amazing game that is injury free on BOTH side lines that is worthy of being on Primetime Divisional weekend!

Personally, and this is just my take on things, but the ball is in the Jaguars court. This game will come down to who is the better coached team, as we saw last week against the Steelers, because both teams made poor coaching decisions, but the Steelers seemed to have made more.

Seeing as the last time we played was two years ago, it comes down to who can have the better game plan coming into a game where there really is no experience between the two of us.

With that said, Good luck! And no matter who wins or loses, let's hope for a close and entertaining game! Oh, and as with every team, there are some Jaguars Fans that are jerks... Don't throw the Baby out with the Bath Water! We have are classy fans just like everyone else!

Oh, and I wouldn't be a Jaguar fan if I didn't say this:

    *clears throat*

    Go Jaguars!

I would also like to wish all of the Pat's fans good luck this weekend. Here's to a safe, very entertaining game. I realize that the Jags have a huge mountain to climb, but I do also believe that anything is possible and this game could go either way if the Jags play good football.

Well, the Jags are the last quality team to face the pats this season that we havent already beat. It'll be a good game for sure, and I wish the Jags luck on keeping it close, but not too much luck to pull a victory out.

screw that, I don't wish them any luck at all. Just a clean, injury-free game that ends with the Pats winning decisively.

Honestly, does anyone genuinely wish the opposing team good luck? I hope the Jaguars have bad luck from the time their plane lands in Rhode Island. It might be a contest in the first half, but I expect the Pats to run away with it.

    Classy post.
But I'll take the blowout over 'close and entertaining' any day.

I am afraid that if the 'ball is in the Jaguars court', they will have to go to Jacksonville to get on the ball, because this game is being played in New England's home court. :)

If I were you, I would say a lot of prayers that this game does not come down to coaching. I would think you would want this game to come down to the only thing the Jaguars have an edge, and that is physicality due to size advantage.

You can possibly get away with that mediocre coaching if you guys manage to control the line of scrimmage. But it doesn't seem to work against the Colts, which is your closest yardstick to us. ;)

As others have said, classy post. I concur here's to an injury-free game on both sides. Of course I want the Patriots to win still man, that's just how it is.

Thanks, I'll go on record as saying that aside from the Pats, the Jags are my favorite AFC team.

If the Jags win, I'll be rooting for them to go all the way. I wouldn't doubt a lot of Pats fans feel the same.

Still gonna beat 'em 38-17 though. :)

i appreciate the positive posts from the Jags fans and i too wish both teams a healthy game, with no serious injuries to anyone. however, i do not wish for a close game. i want the pats to put this one away by the middle of the third quarter.

I also wish good luck with a injury free game to both teams so that whoever wins can go on full strength to the next round. A lot of us Pats fans think it will come down to coaching and that is indeed the source of our confidence that Pats will win this.

By "court" I really didn't mean home field, that being said, I do pray for it to be cold and wet... You know, kind of like that NYJ game in which Brady had no touchdown passes thrown... *ahem* Wet weather is good for us, since we are a primarily "run first" pass second team...

That being said, I do think a lot of teams underestimate our coaching staff. You have to admit that was a gutsy move firing our Starting QB a week before the regular season... If it wasn't for Belichick I'd think Del Rio would be a sure fire bet on Coach of the Year.

Here is what I think the Jaguars need to do to come out with a win (a lot of this are no brainers):

    1) Keep Brady and Company off the field. Last week against the Steelers we really didn't have any of our famous (or infamous, depending on whose team you are on) 15-20 play 10 minute drives. We need at least two of these in this game. The less Brady is on the field the more the Patriots aging defense is on the field. Your defense is very smart but old. Our only chance of keeping pace with Brady is wearing your defense out. We need for Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew to show up Saturday and "bring two chin straps."

    2) Defense needs to rush Brady up the middle. Brady loves stepping up into the pocket and we need to take his North-South Pocket away so he has to run East West. Double Randy Moss and hit him (NOT a dirty hit, mind you) at the line of scrimmage every play. Wes Welker needs to be kept under control too, especially since this is Brady's "true" go-to guy. Personally I think our Larger-than-life Defensive line can handle the run, so having 4-6 in the box with 7-5 out in coverage might be enough... But that's just me.

Sorry, I'm not an analyst... so that's really all I've got.

*Shrugs* I guess that's why I'm not a Football Coach.

We got Scotty Starks who can cover Welker. Shean can go one on one with Moss if he has safety help (Nelson) and Brian Williams can cover Stallworth with safety help (Knight). That's 5.....we got a front 4 who can take it, and Kyle Brady can't catch (thats why the Jags don't have him anymore).

We're ok. The secondary learned a lot from the Saints game.
