Hey guys, I'm driving up Friday morning from Jersey, 4 hour drive, for the game this weekend. Anyways, I figure for at least an hour, if not two, WFAN (NY's #1 sports station) will give out and I was wondering what the posters here thought were the best sports stations to listen to. I heard 98.5 is doing well?

Which one is the Chilli Guy on?

Chilli Guy is featured on 98.5 as part of Toucher and Rich 6-10am Mondays-Fridays.

Either 850 or 98.5 are good stations, both have their ups and downs, biased hosts and dumb sidekicks, bad update reporters and off sports topic discussions. 850 is simulcast in Rhode Island on 103.7 so you should be able to get more out of them over a longer distance than 98.5 if driving through Rhode Island.

Neither morning show focuses on sports. There's probably 60 or 70 posters on Patsfans that Know Football better than the two guys who host EEI or the two guys that host 98.5 If you're to the right politically you'll prolly like EEI better. The other station's more general. The sports content of both goes up after 10 though.
