I honestly don't feel you can rate drafts. There is so much development, luck and chance in them, that the people who get picked late (Tom Brady) have a chance of being incredible and the people picked early (Ryan Leaf) have a chance of being terrible.

I get the feeling this will be the best draft ever under Belichick/Pioli. Mostly for what they drafted beyond the 4th round.

Maroney and Jackson, whether great or good are what you expect in the 1st few rounds. hard to give an A for selecting Maroney, I mean he was there. Same for Jackson because we will never know what player not selected would have flourished here(like a Bruschi).

Yes...it will take a few years to see what we received on day 2. My hunch is we drafted players that will be helping some team...hopefully ours 5-8 years down the lline.


So...on a hunch i give this draft an A+ to an A...time will prove it.

I think Jackson was a GREAT pick. He was being projected to go at the 10-16 range.
