Globe: Danny Amendola "progressing very well"

I don't know where I read this, but apparently his adductor muscle is also torn. And that, apparently, isn't a bad thing, because the way they treat strained/torn groins is to surgically cut the adductor from the bone to allow the groin to heal. That's why many groin tears/strains take up to 6 weeks to heal, because of the surgery. So they are making it seem as though it's a good thing his adductor is torn because this will allow the groin to heal without surgery.

In the end, I don't really understand.

I just hope that Danny's "arrow pointing up" hasn't lasted more than 4 hours.

My friend owns a pizza shop in Scituate which is two doors down from a small business that Amendola family owns. He speaks to Amendolas mother from time to time and what she told him is that she believes overall he is about 5 weeks away from a return. Hopefully it is sooner.

This is just typical misinformation that BB had Amendola pass on to his mother.:D

my sources say that he's good to go

Amendola: "I'm feeling a lot better." Says he's day-to-day.

I bet Mar could help with the muscle recovery

Amendola has family in Scituate.

Danny Amendola?s Experience With Josh McDaniels Was ?Main Thing? Behind Signing With Patriots | New England Patriots | NESN.com

The Patriots gave Danny Amendola $31 million reasons to sign with them this week, but it turns out the main attraction was already in New England.

No, it wasn’t his parents, who own a home in Scituate. Instead, he admitted his experience with offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels during his time with the Rams was the biggest pull.

My bad. Still I really doubt that report.

I hope he returns soon if for no other reason than to shut up the ******s who are calling him JD Amendola, Glass, Jacoby Amendola etc... Seriously, you have to be a complete moron to make statements like that. Hopefully some of the idiots doing so read this.

Simple surgical fix.

But it looks like its all good:

“I anticipate being 100 percent shortly,” Amendola told reporters in the Patriots locker room on Wednesday.

Making it into a 2nd Pats game would be a nice start....right?
JD Drew managed to play in 75% of Red Sox games during his 5 year Saux career...So DA has to get into 12 games so as not to get JDified.
Seems a lofty goal

borges, football players get injured, that's just the way it is, and the idea that getting injured makes them a ***** is one that only a moron would embrace. The simple fact that they have made it to the NFL makes it abundantly clear that all of these guys have a high pain threshold otherwise they never would have made it through all of the football they played simply to get there. However I would never expect those of you who have never actually played anything more physically taxing than fantasy football and Madden to understand such a concept, and that said expect criticism from people like you to continue forever.

I'm sure there are a lot of pinkhat Red Sox fans who think baseball is just as physically demanding as football and really don't know the difference.

Useless without percentage points.

So my wife is Facebook friends with Amendola's cousin (seriously)...which of course means I have ZERO information regarding when he will return :D.

Interesting side note however, we were able to get a signed Amendola picture for my son last year, he was more than happy to sign it for his cousin's friends here in MA.

Just for the record, I'm progressing very well, too.

Per source, Danny Amendola not likely for Sunday, but wouldn't completely rule out. Better shot next week in Cincy

Ya don't rush him back. Still think ATL will be a harder game and he could make the difference. But cincys D is very good. Not sold on Dalton..AT ALL

Gronk this week and Amendola the next. I strongly endorse that.
