Gerhart and Stanford maul USC

Gerhart runs for 170 plus yards and the Cardinal offensive line mauls the entire USC defense.

If BB wants to upgrade over O-line with some serious drive blockers with good technique and power, then Stanford is the place to look. I really like OT Marinelli, good burst, good explosion and he moves the player in front of him. Pass blocking needs work.

Stanford QB Luck is a future top 10 pick if he stays healthy.

Stanford OG Andrew Phillips is also a very nice pull blocker. Stanford is a solid power running team. As an alum, having them beat up on USC (especially 27 points in the 4th quarter) is a treat. Stanford is very much in the Rose Bowl mix right now, and they're probably playing the best of anyone in the Pac 10 at the moment with dominating wins against Oregon and USC.

If Stanford gets to the Rose bowl and they can run on OSU, then that will be huge in terms of them defeating OSU.
