That has been going on for a while. It is part of the reason they stopped allowing people in that had tattoos on their necks, face or hands.

It's been a ongoing problem for awhile now. When I was a PV2 reporting to Fort Bragg in 97 we had to strip down to our drawers to be inspected for tattoos and brands.
CID comes out and gives a class on certain things to look for to identify gang members. It's very informative and also very successful.

Thats one of the reasons this country should never have a Draft again it would only load the Army up with murderers, junkies, child molesters and scum bags (the new America is loaded with them).

So, do away with 24 hr. news and the internet, and you will have your kindler and simple nation.. It was the same then as it is now, except now its exposed.

I remember the big sting operation at Hood in 99 (I think). A captain and an E-7 went down for a drug ring that included gang members that were in their unit (or something along those lines).

Glad to hear that strong proactive action's being taken. But those graffiti pics referenced are disturbing evidence that the problem exists.

I saw some young Airmen that brought the streets with them ... They didn't last long, as they either learned to toe the line or they found themselves at the wrong end of too many Article 15's (non-judicial punishment).
