Here we go:

  1. Watching the game with my extended family, we didn't laugh more all day than constantly replaying Sanchez running into Brandon Moore's arse over and over again. We had to watched it 50 times going back to it on commercial breaks.
  2. No Gronk! No Mankins! No Vollmer! No Jones! No Problem!
  3. Kudos to the o-line and Scar! Arguably their two best players out and they still opened holes for the running game and kept Brady upright. Most teams would have folded.
  4. The Jets aren't far away from being a legitimate contender. They are just a QB, WR corp, RB, o-line, LB corp, coaching staff, GM, and owner away. Watching Woody Johnson and his daughter... um... wife... and his grandchildren.... um.... children do his Thanksgiving promo last night, I have every confidence he will pull together a Super Bowl team any time now.
  5. Getting a little worried about Gostkowski. He is missing too many easy FGs this season.
  6. This a hard game to evaluate because it was over in 52 seconds in the second quarter.
  7. The Pats have scored 44 less points the last two weeks than the Chiefs have scored all season. The Pats have scored 108 points in the last two weeks. The Chiefs have scored 152 points this season.

BTW, LOLs to the NY Daily News which blasted Belichick for gifting a win to the Jets for playing Gronk on that PAT attempt where he broke his arm. Everything set up perfectly for the Jets (four Pats' starters out, home field, the Pats' offense comes up flat) and they laid an egg.

The only people I feel bad for are the victims of Hurricane Sandy, to whom the Jets so conspicuously dedicated this game. Jets weren't exactly the post-Katrina Saints out there.
