We can only hope. There are a lot of unreliable reports coming out of Libya that I've read on various sites: that the reformers have overtaken some of the army barracks, that there is fighting underway in Tripoli, that a key tribe that backed Gaddafi has turned against him, etc.

UK Hague: some information Gaddafi on way to Venezuela | Reuters

British Foreign Secretary William Hague said on Monday he had seen some information to suggest Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi had fled the country and was on his way to Venezuela.

Venezuala??? That is interesting, of all the places in the world. Convenient place for the CIA or Moosad to arrange for an accident....

It is now being reported that Gadaffi is waging genocide.. what a f..ed up mess. At least we have never supported him.. unlike so many of the other mideast despots.

Queue the U.N. expressing "grace concern" while Ghaddafi concerns himself with filling graves.

Not everyone is willing to kill their countrymen in order to protect a POS dictator.

I LOVE CIA and Moosad accidents...sadly, we don't hear much of them these days.

My greatest wish would be for a CIA/Moosad accident on Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. That would be the best one by far!

They really can't do much. That's why I say they are pointless and useless. Their statement of "grave concern" is empty.

They could certainly ask the Libyan government to call of the dogs under threat of sanctions so that other countries can get their people out. I mean, what are they waiting for? Everyone to be dead first like in Darfur? Let him know that if he doesn't knock it off that a real military will show up soon.

Nothing. The UN is an illegitimate bastard child of the globalist progressive LON. Defund, disengage and kick that creepy monolith out of the country.

That said, they are pretty much politically powerless there.

On a side note, oil is surging up in price. Time to see if 13's coal to oil technology is really cost effective. Its also time to get drillin. That is the easiest fastest cheapest way to shrink our dependence on foreign oil TODAY while we work on other ideas for tomorrow.

We should have been drilling years ago, it would be flowing right now.

There's trouble in the thar hills.

If Gaddafi starts shooting Egyptians, they will upgrade from "deeply concerned" to "gravely concerned".

Egypt's 17th-ranked army vs. Libya's 39th-ranked army, although Libya has apparently brought in reinforcements (mercenaries...who are they?)

Not too many safe places for ol' Qaddafi these days. If he's not safe in Libya, good luck finding somewhere else.

I like a quote I read from an analyst (paraphrased): "Once you start bombing your own cities, it probably means that it's time to pack the bags. You haven't got long."
