Certainly look much crisper on offense than we do, and they have a bunch of ballhawks on defense.

Jimmy Graham with a Gronk-esque play.

Yeah, I think NO is in for a disappointing season, and the Texans are going to be good. They are the Pats biggest challenge in the AFC not Baltimore or Pittsburgh, IMO

ETA: Texans defense doesn't look great, however!

I agree, but the Texans have given up 17 point in just one half, with the possibility of it being 24.

Yeah, I know, preseason, but weren't they supposed to be a defensive juggernaut?

Super Bowl preview. If the Texans stay healthy no team can beat them in the AFC. New Orleans looks like they haven't lost a step on offense. Can they beat Green Bay?

That Offense doesn't need Payton to go. The Saints will be score. The Defense on the other hand...

I think the Saints will be fine. They've got too much talent not to be a more than decent team.

The Texans are scary. They've always played NE tough.

The lead official reminds me of Felix Unger.

Why does it always look like every other team in the league has a bunch of WR's that can go get the football? I know Gronk has that ability...and I'm hoping Llyod does as well.

It just seems like Brady can't take that chance to throw it up for grabs to any of our guys. He has to be so precise all the time.

I doubt the Texans are unbeatable, however, I do think they will be very good if healthy. They may have the inside track to HFA since the Pats play in a tougher division. As for the Saints, I think their biggest problem will be the defense and NFC South itself is going to be better this year.

I don't think that this year's AFC will be a problem for New England. Considering what I've seen thus far from the JETS, FINS & BILLS, I could see the PATS going 6-0 in the division.

As to Houston, yeah... they've got talent. However this is a preseason game and you can take nothing valid away from any preseason game except for the status of injured players. Remember that Detroit went 4-0 in the preseason with everyone thinking they were a new force to be dealt with, only to go 0-16 in the season.

One game at a time. One opponent at a time. :D

We call them deep threats. Rarely do they come around these parts.

The officiating is hot and cold...if you watched tonight, they called a lot of P.I. and they let a lot go for no reason. Pass interference is pass interference...now it seems there's some unwritten rule that you can wrap your back arm around the receiver and pull him down while you hold your front arm out to deflect the pass..was there some rule change I missed???

Houston was the "#1 seed" for quite a bit of last season, even winning 4 games in a row with the back up qb in. And they did this in a season that they lost their two best D players and two best offesive players. Johnson only played
    7 games Schaub 9.

However they are thin on the oline after losing 3 starters to FA.
