Yes...our former Sean Morey, who some here, including my self wanted to see stay as a backup WR / KR / PR / and fulltime defensive Special Teamer. He's honed himself into a role like that with the Steelers and now has a ring...Same as Lawyer Milloy LOL .
I'm pretty sure Belichick went out of his way to find a spot for him but back in 2001 Belichick had too many ??? marks for several positions and needed better developed regular role players to fight for jobs.
Back then Troy was still in his returning prime. But surely, hindsight is 20/20 and keeping Morey would have been better than keeping:
