Does anyone know why we keep having to put unsual players into the fullback position? So far, we have seen Richard Seymour play there (and got injured for that) and then Tom Ashworth pull some time there against the Bucs. Seeing that we have a perfectly healthy full back who has been playing well in the form of Heath Evans, why not play him there? We certainly can't afford injuries to players like Ashworth. ( we may need him to play cornerback if we lose another one there) :p

If i'm not mistaken, Evans has been hurt

Oh yeah, the shoulder injury. With BB keeping a tight lid on things, I can't even tell what questionable means anymore. I hope he gets well. It should be interesting to see Evans and Dillon line up together!

Evans is on the injury report for a shoulder injury. BB prefers to not 'waste' a roster spot on a "traditional" FB, this season we've used TEs, DLs, and OLs as lead blockers in short yardage situations. Seymour's injury has given the nay-sayers something to whine about, but given the depth we've needed at other positions it has been a successful way to manage the roster. Besides, a 300 lb. DL/OL is generally more effective at making holes then a little 240/250 lb. FB.

Evans is not a good blocker.
