Continuing to flame fires, the NY Daily News spews some venom about BB once again.. surprised they did not throw in some stuff about his paramour and her new digs.. I guess that this sells newspapers in the big apple.

TEFLON BILL: It's too bad Patriots coach Bill Belichick elected to skip the NFL meetings, which avoided another potential uneasy reunion with Jets coach Eric Mangini. Would they have shaken hands? Would they have hugged? Would Belichick have avoided Mangini? They could bump into each other at college workouts, but might not be in the same spot again until the first Jets-Pats game

Cretins.

At least we don't have Borges here to moralise about that. If I recall he made a big song and dance about BB not making himself available to reporters last year.

Anyone missing him? No, thought not...

Actually didn't he miss this last year also?

I believe he did but we wouldn't want to let the facts get in the way of the article.

Last year I think he was there but the league assigned Borges to interview him (every coach had one reporter assigned), and for obvious reasons BB refused.

I seem to recall Borges calling him out for not doing a breakfast press conference like all the others had to do. But I could be wRONg.

:trolls: also applies to regional newspapers.

I think this is a riot! Can't you just see BB sitting there thinking, "I am not going to these meetings [across the country in Arizona, no less!] with a bunch of back-slapping, self-congratulating buffoons when I can be in my office 24 hours a day evaluating draft prospects! I'll let Kraft handle this one." Do you honestly think he has even thought for one second about Eric Mangini since he wiped the field turf with him in January? All the demons were erased with that win. It's a new season, baby!!

NY is obsessed with the man that told them to take their team and shove it.

Heav'n has no rage like love to hatred turn'd
Nor Hell a fury, like a woman scorn'd.

It's time for NY to get on with the rest of their miserable lives and get over it.
These people have the attention span and intelligence of a grape so what
do you expect?

Me, I'm glad that BB values working on draft and FA ways of improving his team ahead of socializing with NFL owners. Continuous evaluation plus continuous improvement. That's a management secret of the NEP.

They really want to believe that the Jets are relevant. They can't write about the Jets being better on the field so instead they'll write about crap like this.

Isn't the NY Daily News like the Enquirer? Be nice to keep that crap off this board.
