I'll start off by saying the two WR's will be Caldwell and Gaffney with Welk in the slot and Watson at TE. I say Kaczur gets the nod at RT.

Welker will be the KR.

As for RE Green starts with all the LB regulars with AD at ILB.

CB's will be Hobbs and Gay with Meriweather in the slot. Geno and Rod at safety.

Oh and Faulk starts at HB not Morris.

Who plays the slot CB?

Meriweather. I mean, slot CB isn't exactly a starting position. I'm sure we'll see Meriweather both inside and outside.

(Or we may not, and only see James, Richardson, and crew outside...)

Can't say I thought of that one!

(I have A$ante $amuel to thank for that one...and Jackie MacMullan...)

Cool the guy who has improved his blocking with a good camp and was a starter last year is the backup to Mills - I must have missed all the great camp report on Mills where he blocked and did better blitz pickup than Evans to beat him out of the spot...

Never said that. But if they start with a 2TE offense as they usually do, then Mills and Kranchick start. But if they go with an I-form backfield, then Evans will obviously be the man at FB.

I think they'll actually give Malone some chances. If he blows it, he may be on his way out. Then we'll see Miller and Baugher battle it out in the last 3 games.

The remarkable thing is that even with WRs of the caliber of Moss and Stallworth on the sidelines, this is still a VAST improvement over last year's opening day receiving corps. Or to put it another way, Moss, Stallworth, Welker and the 2007 versions of Caldwell and Gaffney with their chemistry with Brady gives us five different receivers who would have been upgrades over the 2006 starting lineup. Have you seen a team make such a dramatic change in one part of their roster in a single season?

Yeah but with Dillon gone and Evans getting the carries in few of the short yardage runs I will interested to see him in their doing just that.
