Fred Jackson - RFA ????

1) Jackson is an ERFA. Even if he were an RFA, the cost would be at least a 1st. He certainly is worth $2.4M a year to the Bills (the RFA cost needed to require a first).

2) We had the best patriot running game in 20 years. We are adding Maroney next year. We may lose Jordan, or not. In any case, Maroney should be able to have at least the same yards as Jordan. At minimum, we have Morris, Maroney, Faulk and BJGE as our four running backs. We are NOT out looking!

3) Everyone would like to have Sproules. There is no reason to believe that he would be more valuable to the patriots than to other teams. We would likely not even be in the bidding; we have better ways to use cap money.

I asked this once before but got no response, in short, what are the Patriots most likely to do with their draft picks, and/or trades? I know Asomugha was mentioned...

Fred Jackson is going nowhere. He will be resigned. Besides, with Jauron running Club Med at OBD, who in their right mind would want to leave?

If we knew, we'd either be working for the Patriots, or BB would have to kill us. :D

Seriously, though, we're all really just guessing here. Asomugha is unlikely, though, since there's a pretty good chance the Raiders will just slap the exclusive franchise tag on him (meaning he can't negotiate with other teams unless they give him permission to do so).

And they clearly won't let him talk to the Patriots.

it's funny I remember thinking during the game that Jackson looked like a "Patriots" type of guy but I don't see the Pats landing him though...with the NFL being a 2-3 back system the Bills would be stupid to let him go..I would love to see the Pats get a burner like Sproles but what what you do with our current backs? who would be the odd man out?

I was thinking the same thing during the game. I'd love to see him in a Pats uniform, but it probably wont happen.

I know Asomugha is top DB, but he looked like crap against the Pats.. I'm sure the fact that his team completely mailed it in didn't help..

ill take him over the glass box any day, he runs like he wants to
