So if Franken had just yelled "YOU LIE!!!" at the top of his lungs then that would have been ok right?

I didn't realize that rolling your eyes while someone else is trying to speak is a more egregious offense than actually screaming at them.

The Republicans are a tad touchy wouldn't you say???.. do not roll your eyes as it may offend someone.. give me a f..ing break, the faux outrageous, outrage of the day..

Grow up and act like adults.. the business inside the beltway is getting more disengenuous daily, particularly when someone makes a big deal because someone rolled their eyes at them.. oh the horrors!!!!!

Franken is OK. Don't know too much about him except that he was on SNL and somehow won the Minn Senate seat. But he does seem like a stand-up guy from this story.

“The leader thought I was disrespectful while he was giving his speech on General Kagan,” Franken said in a statement to POLITICO. “He is entitled to give his speech with the presiding officer just listening respectfully. I went directly to his office after I was done presiding to apologize in person. He wasn’t there, so I’ve sent him a handwritten note.”

Pretty decent of him. Maybe that's why the Rep's aren't saying too much about it. Not sure who "General Kagan" is.

Another shiny object on the ground for Harry to pick up. Not much here, Boy.

Your right about the story, I was pointing out "the comments" that are under the story, what the people think.

This is much to do about nothing. In all honesty, it shouldn't even be news. Like Wistah said, he was a stand up guy and appologized. I think this is only news cuz of the Wiener episode where he was screaming in the chamber. Maybe the press wanted to show how there's a lot of anger in the air or something. zzzzzzzzzzzz...if you ask me. This isn't news.
