As pointed out on the website with that picture, "If high gas prices aren't Nancy Pelosi's fault, then whose fault are they?"

Let me see,can I guess mmm,ahhh,urr....... Duby'a. It's truly pathetic what Fox noise will say. But whats even worse are the people who are out there that actually believe the crap fox spews. Not only have the prices gone up (and he's done nothing to alieviate the situation),he's destroyed the dollar. Which makes the price's even steaper. W's got the reverse Midas touch,( everything he's around he turns to sh!t)This administration has been an obcenity.

    here's what's fact...

    - mankind has consumed just over half the world's oil in 100 years... meanwhile, the global population and demand for oil continues to explode...

    - Oil has peaked on it's bell curve, and we now use 4-6 barrels for every 1 new barrel's worth found ...

    - it is no coincidence the price has gone through the roof at precisely the same time as post-peak decline was predicted in the 1950s (2005-2010)... it will continue to do so... it will get worse

    - shale oil and tar sands reserves are not the answer...

Liberals are so cuddly and cute. Every Fox headline they don't like they start a thread on; imagine if Republicans did that over every headline on other networks. Of course we aren't as thin skinned and sensitive as our cute and cuddly friends.

You guys always have to break things down into liberal vs coservative. If you were real conservatives you wouldn't be backing this fool we have for a president. No real conservative republican could back all the spending, warring, and decline of this country fiscally. Your neo-cons,and W's your boy and there are no excuses . OWN him and what he has done instead of trying to pawn it off on someone else. Lets face it neo-cons are horrible at ruuning a country but great at blaming other people for their ineptitude

I think if you looked around the board you'd find that most Republicans here are luke warm at best to Bush. As I've said before, I voted for him in 2000 but voted (L) in 2004 so I learned in 4 years :)

Thats what I'm saying. A solid republican wouldn't have done the things that Bush has. Sometimes I think its like were on the Titanic and trying to place blame while the ships sinking.

Does anyone have a link to what the story was? Cavuto is a very sarcastic guy, so I'd prefer to know the correlating context, before I take the view of someone who doesn't even have cable.

Where's the rest of the interview? Cavuto was going to discuss the issue with a dem congressman, and they don't show it?

Here's the transcript. Cavuto's point is that Nancy Pelosi promised lower gas prices when she took control, and she hasn't delivered. I don't think gas prices are Pelosi's, nor the Dems fault. However, if you're going to make a claim (assuming she did make that claim) that you'll lower them, you better be prepared to be called out on it if you don't.

They want to stay warm but they hate oil
They need oil but they won't dig for it
They need refineries but won't build them
They need gas but they hate oil
    They HATE Bush
    They HATE Haliburton
They need oil :singing: :singing: :singing:

And you call me an apologist! Fox News embarrasses itself with that kind of nonsense. When will the Republicans learn to take responsibility. The same group that complains about deficits runs up the deficit, that preaches about personal responsibility always tries to blame someone else. Pathetic bunch of hypocrites. They make the Democrats look ethical.

Hmmm....let me see, I appologized for whom exactly? I merely explained to you what happened. Pelosi claimed lower gas prices, 1 year later Cavuto makes light of her promise. I clearly said I don't think Pelosi, nor the dems are to blame for high gas prices. See, I guess in Patter's world it's ok for people to make promises and not deliver.

Pelosi never made a promise, and your apologizing by claiming Cavuto is making light of her promise (it' was not a promise, and I don't think he was making light of it).

Thank you for posting that. It said that Democrats have a plan. There's big difference between a plan and a promise. If Bush works with the Democrats to enact their plan, prices will come down. Let's hope he does something!
