seems like he'd be a good pickup
 
He hasn't seen significant playing time in 2 years.

Plus he did nothing before he went to the Colts and I'm willing to bet he does nothing after he leaves.
 
He and Manning were about as tight as Deion and Tom, yet rather than restructure Polian cut him. That tells me Polian had real concerns about his ability to stay on the field. Colts fans refer to him as Brokley. It's a ruptured achilles he's rehabbing now and while his agent says he'll be ready for the season he likely won't be real ready come camp time which a new club would need him to be to get assimilated. And again, he's a slot receiver and we have that covered now. He's likely a FA who will get another look from clubs come July when they see how their guys look in early camp - kinda like the rehabbing Ty Law in 2005 - you can't evaluate these guys until they can at least run with a limp.
