Not sure how you can evaluate the NE Patriots as a fail for pass rush help and then completely ignore (not even mention) POTENTIALLY the biggest acquisition for that need????

Kind of a bizarre analysis all around. Michael Jenkins a projected starter? Noting that Jones only had 6 sacks in 13 starts...without acknowledging his injures?

    Whatever.

They have Michael Jenkins as our #2 Wr when he's 5th at best on our depth chart right now.

Site continues to show why these guys should be taken with a grain of salt.

Usually a big fan of FO, but that was very sloppy work, to say the least. No way in hell that Jenkins starts for the Pats; even if they make no further moves, he's probably at best the #4 right now.

Also, when mentioning how the Pats have addressed their pass rush over the last year, how did they manage to leave out Hightower? He had 4 sacks as a rookie who missed some games and was far from a dedicated pass rusher. That's a significant contribution, with a lot of reason to believe that he'll only contribute more if they decide they need him there.

Not to mention that Jones' sack total was so low (a description that I dispute in its own right: 6 sacks is pretty good) was because he only had a total of one after week 6. It was pretty obvious to anyone who was watching the games that he played injured for most of the season, and that dramatically reduced his ability to get to the quarterback. If he's stayed healthy he would have had 10+ sacks, and I expect that, barring injury, he'll have a JPP-like year 2.

I am very excited to see mike jenkins. Branch's game for the last few years reminded me of those possession type receivers except he is 5'9. Now we swap branch for jenkins and those decoy plays and blocking for bubble screens may work much better. I thought branch was slow and now we get a guy known as mollasses mike. I want, no I need, to see how slow you have to be to get the name mollasses.

I have liked him ever since the 08 falcons vs bears game(one of the best games i've ever seen). I'm hoping he is like moss. Believed to be done and then just kills it with us.
