Never have been a huge fan of Ted, but acknowledge he has done a lot of good for the american people... my distaste has to do with the differential application of justice for the haves and have not.. but that is not important. As an observer this past week, have not been glued to the tube, but have caught bits and pieces of what has happened... a couple of observations.. 1. The usual RW feeds have for the most part been civil and somewhat kind to Ted, there are a few editorials but they have not damned the man. 2. Most of the leaders of the right Bush, McCain, Hatch and many other dignitaries of the right honored him and recognized his achievement. Most of them have talked in superlatives about his friendship, leadership and legislative abilities. 3. He has been hammered consistently by the Rush's, Beck's, Worldnet etc. 4. On this board most of the comments of the right have been reflective of the what the media spokesmen of the party have regurgitated... The question becomes, who leads the party of the right.. those who they elected, or those who get paid by Madison Avenue????
