At least that's what some hacker are reporting....

Hackers claim proof the FBI is tracking Apple mobile devices

"Still, if the claims are to be believed, users whose addresses, cell phone numbers and iOS device IDs made their way from Apple's (AAPL) servers to an FBI agent's notebook computer deserve an explanation.

No comment so far from either Apple or the FBI."

Put a lot of this "spy on citizens" crap together and one might think our gov't is expecting social unrest....or even worse.

Maybe those NUTS, "Doomsday Preppers" are onto something?

Do you have the idea the manpower to track one person's movement, never mind about a hundred million.. that is a few folks watching many folks.

Yeah, the hacker said....hey, CNN thought enough about it that they now have an article on it. Don't blame me for what CNN publishes.

all "they" need to do is let their computers monitor people's conversations. Once they identify someone suspicious, they start tracking that person.

Not much manpower is needed Darryl.

We now have drones roaming our country too.....

we've been through this before Darryl.....tracking is easily done by computer. this is no different than monitoring videos....could probably track several thousand people with the most basic laptop

do you seriously believe monitoring is done by a single person staring at a single screen?

Never said that.. my implication is that it is a lot of information, that has to be interpreted by humans sooner or later..

All wireless providers have systems to flag certain keywords/phrases. One you amass enough flags and you find yourself on a federal watch list.

computer filters most of it......humans interpret the flags, and those can be sorted.......

    you simply underestimate technology.
