    Favorite:
Chris Christie - Govenor NJ. - He is for less goverment and lower taxes. You gotto love his honest and refreshing tone.
YouTube - Conservative Governor on his "confrontational tone"

    Least Favorite
John Kerry - Senator Ma - A total pompous a55 with a "holier than thou" attitude. Never seen a tax he didn't like, unless that tax was on his 7 million dollar boat. He would then move his boat to Rhode Island to
avoid paying $500,000 in taxes on that boat.

Right now, Obama is my favorite politician. His ethnicity and values speak to the progress the US has made in terms of equality, human rights, and fairness. The job is certainly not done, but he's achieved several important milestones in under two years -- health care reform, a stimulus bill that is investing in energy independence, credit card reform, and banking regulation.

My least favorite politician is probably Mitt Romney, who seems to lack all integrity. He embraces whatever is popular at the time -- gay rights when he was governor, moderate conservativism when he ran for president, and now Tea Party views. He's a lot like Gingrich, an unprincipled political opportunist.

As far as your choices, cupofjoe, I sort of agree with you in the sense that Christie seems to be a very competent representative of Tea Party values and Kerry is way too pompous. Of course that doesn't mean that I'd vote for Christie or against Kerry. After all, in general I agree with Kerry and disagree with Christie.

    Christie certainly peaks my interest.

I have such a long list of loser politicians, I don't know that I could just name one. For me, it'd be a battle royal of losers such as:

    Gingrich
    Romney
    Reid
    Pelosi
    Kerry
    Frank
    Delay
    Linsey Graham
    Patrick
    Specter

He's not a politician, but Karl Rove is someone I loathe as well.

Do not like too many, and no one comes to mind right now. I do like both of our Senators Whitehouse and Reed, both intelligent and well versed on the issues.

But there are quite a few on both sides of the aisle who make my insides crawl...Al Gore comes to mind along with Ted Kennedy.

Perhaps the issue is politics, how it is a haven for the rich and who we choose to run this country... not necessarily the most qualified, but the person with the most money and who makes the most noise.

    Zell Miller

    Alan Grayson

John Edwards(for cheating on his wife while she had cancer)

    favorite: George Washington, Rush Limbaugh

    least favorite: everyone else.

I agree we have warped the system so far from what it was intended to be. That is what happens when you limit free speech and tell people what they are and aren't allowed to spend their own money on.

Of course I only give the USA as it exists now a 50/50 chance of making the next election. Thank creeps like Reid and McCain for that one.

OT: No idea what "as it exists now" means, but will you take action on those odds?

Is Rush Limbaugh a politician?? Thought he was an entertainer even though he has said he is the defacto head of the republican party and it is up to him to "anoint" the next presidential candidate.

OTOH the right seems to be infatuated with Hollywood Wife Swappers for ledership...

    #12 Jersey

Favorite: Hillary Clinton, my candidate in 2008.

    EVERYBODY who matters is

    • Phony
    • Bad on Fourth Amendment and similar freedoms

But outside of that she's outstanding.

Least favorite: Sarah Palin, because she doesn't even pretend to be serious about the issues, but rather teaches that being an unserious idiot is OK.
