I don't have a problem with it. What makes peole think someone like Caldwell will be any more useful to this team than Boston would?

Caldwell is a potential up-and-comer. He is young and seems to be coming into his own.

David Boston has ravaged his body by working out too much. His upper body is out of proportion with his lower body. His leg strength has been widely questioned. His steroid use has been questioned. His flexibility in his upper body has been questioned. He has had difficulty stayng on the field. It has been documented that he has ignored the advice and recommendations of 2 franchises' strength and conditioning programs.

I would rather give David Terrell another shot than bring in David Boston.

Knowledge of the game and players? Common sense?

Anyway, the comment in questin had nothing to do with Caldwell. It had to do with Brady focusing on Boston all game long if we were to sign Boston.

If all Brady needs is a big target, then he's already got two in our tight ends, who are definately above average talent-wise.

If he needs a burner, I'm not sure Boston can provide that anymore, given his extensive injury history.

I can't say I'd get too excited about bringing Boston in.

Kassel and Teague are gone...
Arrington probably to Packers
Hakim to Cardinals
Slim pickins left.

But for one year?? I think he's an ideal pickup as a #4 if the price is right. With him and Troy Brown out there, it would be an AARP convention.....

Old enough to be an AARP charter member I say... Hear ! Hear!!

But I end to agree with Groucho Marx, ..."Any organization that would have me, I don't want any part of..."

Proehl would be a good pickup for a year. And he could finally get his ring, that he liked his chances of getting...
