Nothing I love better than to see these draft 'grades' come out immediately after the draft. No one has yet to play a snap in the 2007 yet but we get grades from the media.

I'm waiting for the great Dr. Z to do his and then all will be right with the world.

Maybe I should call myself Dr. Nut and come out with my own grades?

the media is no different than the posters on these forums. everyone is making immediate judgements on stuff that won't be clear for years

The great and powerful Dr. Z gave the Pats an "Incomplete"

Now, I'm not trolling for an A, but he's another who doesn't consider the Moss trade part of the draft maneuvering. Guess that's because the Pats gave Oakland a ham sandwich and a cup of coffee for Moss, eh?

I still can't believe Miami took Ginn at #9. I've got a good friend of mine who is a Dolphins fan, and I can't even heckle him about the choice because I feel so sorry for him. :(

I laughed out loud when Miami's pick in round 1 was announced. That's why they'll not be competing anytime soon.

At best, Ginn is a #3 receiver and a return man.

I believe Miami was trying to replace Welker.

It will be interesting to see how their QB situation shakes out . . .

I always thought the same...until I saw Miami take Ted Ginn! :D

These aren't grades for results, they're grades for decision-making. Maybe the #1 Dallas gets from Cleveland will turn out to be an axe murderer...but the 2007 trade was still a great move by the Cowboys.

The problem is that is it usually is the teams that takesthe most names that get the highest grades, and as history has shown, picking names does not always equal success.

they are actually grades for "how well a teams scouting department agrees with conventional wisdom"

Kiper gave the Patriots a B. He didn't give any team higher than a B+, or any lower than a C-. Maybe he grades on a curve.

Of course, the difference between a C- and a B+ for Kiper is if the team took the 37th rated cornerback on his BIG BOARD in the middle of the 7th round when the 32nd rated was still available.
