At least, OTHERS won't call us a dynasty. Why? Because the Pats don't blow anybody out or generate huge offensive/defensive numbers. Network hacks like teams ala 1985 Bears or this year's Colts... teams that are SUPPOSED to win. Except for last year, really, we were never supposed to win. JMHO.

honestly i think that IF we will be able to win also thiss year it will be very difficult pratically impossible for the media do not recognize us a a dinasty.

for me we are allready a dinasty now winning 3 Super Bowl in 4 years in the salary cap era.

If, and it's a big if, we pull this off, no-one will be able to say "no dynasty" with a straight face. 3 in a row, 4 out of 5 = no question. Even if we don't win this year but do next year, 4 out of 6 will be an unquestioned dynasty.

That is rediculous....the Pats are already a dynsaty...nobody has ever won 3 in a row....they might have to use a new word for what they would've accomplished at that point......

"EMPIRE"

Your team has a dynasty. They have accomplished a great deal, winning so many games for several years. 3 out of 4 Superbowls. You have the trophies, rings, commercials. Heck, you even drafted the Diet Pepsi machine, got Willie doing some god awful dancing, and Tom Brady is doing Visa commercials with the Metaphors.

Do you think that the attitude that your team does not get the respect it deserves is that you can't have an underdog mindset unless you can find a reason?

As far as the media. You will always find articles in the media playing up most any team, why? They sell! Find an article counting the Patriots out, it will sell to Pats fans because they love to read the bad stuff to stoke their emotions, good "BB" material. Find and article touting the Pats, it will sell because it can be used to see that the media is "finally getting it". Same way with every other successful team. Sorry the Colts get a lot of media attention too, it must make somebody some money.

It will be a rare day when droves of other teams fans come and "kiss the ring", first whats in it for them? and second because it is just too much fun for them to watch you all spin up when they won't declare your team a "dynasty".

They already DO call us a Dynasty.

Homer Jones, you're just saying that so that you can say your team beat a dynasty once. That's it, once. No more. :singing:

No, just kidding. That is a nice acknowledgment on your part. To use a far, far overused word: classy. Cheers.

I for one, really care at all about the whole dynasty thing. That said, four SB's would certainly qualify.

ummmmm

I don't care how you slice it.......3 SB's in 4 years (despite the margin of victory which is meaningless)........That IS A DYNASTY MAN!!!!.....No question at all on that one......Pats.....Cowboys.....DYNASTIES!!!!!

The 85 bears weren't a dynasty and neither are this year's colts?????

I think even if we don't win this year, in history we will be called a dynasty by most.
