How does this go almost 2 full weeks before it makes news...? And while the article I am posting here doesn't say what she said, what she allegedly said was "F*ck Notre Dame, f*ck Touchdown Jesus, f*ck Jesus."

Can you imagine if she said something similar about Muhammed..??

Dana Jacobson, co-host of ESPN2's "First Take," is currently being disciplined for remarks made at a Jan. 11 celebrity roast for ESPN Radio personalities Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic.

Her characterizations of the Notre Dame football program, which have been criticized by a Catholic organization, were deemed "inappropriate" by the network, which issued the following statement from Jacobson:

"I am sorry. My remarks about Notre Dame were foolish and insensitive. I respect all religions and did not mean anything derogatory by my poorly chosen words. I also deeply regret the embarrassment I've caused ESPN and Mike and Mike.

"My actions at the roast were inappropriate and in no way represent who I am. I won't make excuses for my behavior, but I do hope I can be forgiven for such a poor lack of judgment."

GMTA :D You must be listening to WEEI too... It blows my mind that such a comment could be made - and then not even be reported for almost 2 weeks.

ESPN is a bunch of hypocrites. They love to make a mountain out of a molehill whenevere anyone says anything remotely controversial - unless it's one of their own personalities. Then it becomes a forbidden subject.

Yeah, I am listening to EEI. ESPN did the same thing with Michael Irvin's Romo grandma rant.

If Ann Coulter said anything like that about the "Muslim God" the politically correct left wing liberals in America would be flogging themselves to death and demanding Coulters head and the Muslims would hunt her down and give it to them on the end of a stick.

I have been called a "Racist" many times right on this forum simply because I can't stand the Liberal Democrats Double Standard (f-ck them) they can kiss my white Mother F#$%ing A$s, "ya know what i'm sayin"

If you think racist or anti-Muslim or anti-Semitic remarks would have been treated with the same indifference, then you are foolishly naive.

Thta's not true. Have you ever watched a real roast before? They say sh!t like that all the time. This is just the right being total hypocrites as usual. Complain about PC culture all the time and then whine incessantly about the "persecution of Christians." This is so pathetic.

wow. Have you ever watched a roast before? Stand up comics say pretty much whatever they want without repercussions.

Wow... there's a surprise... one of this forum's moonbats defending a vehemently anti-Christian remark...

I defend the right of comics to say what they want. That's the wholepoint of a roast. Why would you be offended by this? Is that not the definition of being PC?

Actually she got the same exact 2 week suspension. And she wasn't at a roast when she said it. Was it meant to be racist no? was it stupid? yes. who cares? not Tiger Woods.

Where did I say I was offended..?
The same remark that said Muhammed or black people or whatever in the same setting would have incited a firestorm. Is that not the definition of a double standard..?
