Since I don't have a diesel-powered Rolls-Royce, you should pay attention to me and not Sting on the environment.

But picking on stupid celebrities is the only defense you have.

That and saying the same thing over and over and over and over again... guess that must make it right if he keeps saying the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over again.

No, I've recently posted extensively on the fact that this whole "sky-is-falling" ploy by the usual suspects is biggest load of excrement foisted on the public in a hundred years, or more.

The man-made CO2 that AlGore and his fellow travelers have orgasms talking about is, and ALWAYS has, *FOLLOWED* elevations in temperature. There is no, none, ZERO record of the opposite, temperatures rising *after* CO2 rises.

Aside from that, your post was OK. Except I enjoy getting after celebrities!! :D

I'm so tired of fighting about man-made global warming, of which I have no doubts, that I'm gonna let it go. But there's still a lot more to the environment. Smog, air pollution, water pollution, nuclear waste disposal. We still have to do our best not to sh!t in our nest.

It's absolutely true that we must not pollute the planet. No question or doubt whatsoever.

The issue is: *how* to do it. Using "sky-is-falling" scare tactics, humiliation, and now *THREATS* against those who ask for a rational, scientific approach is the danger ("holocaust deniers"). The environmental extremists, the ones who have been spiking trees (wounding/killing lumberjacks for 30 years) and who now demonstrate like a mob of anarchists is the danger. Mobs never rule from the notion of what's best; they rule only from extreme passion and emotionalism. And that's wrong.

I believe in environmentalism, but not ELF-type environmentalism.

So you're you're a (deskbound) Greenpeace warrior?? The founder was in the video I posted a few days ago, saying how the current "man-made" global warming movement was a pure crock of latrine filler.
