That was already a story, right now the anonymous photographer is a non-story. If some source leaked that it was rumoured that the Jets also had a guy on the sidelines then the pictures on the site would be popping up everywhere.
A Jets photographer standing on the sidelines was already a story? It is called checking your facts before running with it. The basic rule of legitimate journalism is that anything printed or broadcasted needs to be independently verified. They broke one of the biggest rules of journalism by not verifying that that photographer is not Estrella.
As for things not being a story, Ron Borges became a huge story because a student in Washington caught him stealing someone else's story and told Pats fans on the Internet. It was a non-story and the press sprung into action based on e-mails by people on Internet message boards. There have been other cases of this.
