[Edit]HOF Reject/SB-Never-Was Cris Carter's Laughs at Pats Chances

In DonBlackmon55's defense, the 2011 New England Patriots made it to the Super Bowl one more time than Cris Carter did.

And if you want to continue to get into semantics, the 2011 New England Patriots have never NOT made it to a Super Bowl. Cris Carter's career was a perfect run of not making it to the Super Bowl.

Any more automatic contrarian wordgames you want to play today, Mr. Irae?

You continue to misunderstand the word "contrarian", Mr. Smessy.

As for the 2011 Patriots v. Chris Carter, was Carter laughing at the chances of all the earlier Patriots Super Bowl teams of the BB/Brady era?

The 2011 Patriots have not made it to the Super Bowl 5 times in 10 years, so your argument sucks.

Again, and still

Ok, Tom Brady has made it to the SB 5 times as part of this TEAM, which is named the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS, that play in a town called Foxborough, MA on the outskirts of Boston. The team called NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS are part of the NFL which keeps stats and openly markets it as how many SB championships a particular team has played or won since they dedcided the AFL and NFL would merge. By those rules and bylaws, the New England Patriots have made it to 5 SB's in 10 years. Perhaps rest of us have been in a time warp not to realize the first 4 SB The NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS participated in this century todate, winning 3 were actually a figment of our imagination.

As a matter of fact the Steelers never won 6 SB's

Now your point is worth as much as a used toilet paper.

Sorry, but 1 season, in a one year time period, is not a decade. It just doesn't work that way. My point is fine. Yours is still idiotic.

Cris Carter...you deserved what you got in the eyes of Patriots fans.

I hope Cris cried when he got the news!

BIG round of applause from you imaginary folks!!!

This pretty much sums up Cristine Carter. Start at 3:30...Cristine Carter proudly talks how he made 8 Pro bowls with 5 QBs, and that Roddy White, is better than Calvin Johnson. LOL

Cristine Carter.......Ass clown idiot. Keep counting your Probowls moron

ESPN's Cris Carter: Calvin Johnson is good but not elite - YouTube

I know its difficult for you to comprehend logic, no worries, touche idiot

Leave it to Carter to bring up Spygate and how he has to win post that to legitimize everything. SMH

Just win today please Pats and end this nonsense.

In all fairness those comments were made 3 weeks into this season and the fact is that in 4 years Johnson had yet to put up consistently top 5 WR #s.
Carter didn't say he didn't have the ability, he said he wasn't there YET, and it is not an unreasonable viewpoint. Now CJ went on to have a tremendous season and he did reach that level, so if he still said that he would be wrong, but when the comments were made and the fact they were made based on prodcution and how he was actually played rather than talent and potential, frankly he was right.

But his comments were made toward the DBs on the 2011 team, not toward the other 4 teams that went to the SB.
I get that you are plssed over it, but you can't argue against "your secondary currently sucks" with "we went to 5 SBs in 11 years".
You COULD argue based on this years being good enough to not keep the team out of THIS SB, but 2003 has little to do with this years secondary.
