When Jackson's contract is up he'll be about the age Welker is now.

Agreed for dedication, hard work, and smartness. But talent wise goes to Jackson, too bad it didnt help his brain.

I can't believe people would argue otherwise. But then I see who is doing the arguing, and it all starts to make sense.

Have you cared to even look at Deseans stats, disregarding the attitude? You're the one smoking.

Yeah please pass the bong this homerism has to stop! Jackson > Welker nuff said! Welker is going to regret that contract he turned down with the Patriots. Guys on the wrong side of 30 dont get those type of contracts. It sure pays to have Speed.

So far it's you, IC, and PF12.

    Birds of a feather, baby.

Assuming you look at it from the relevant perspective (who would you rather have on your team), Welker is easily preferable to Jackson.

Desean is a one trick pony, but it's a damn good trick. If the Eagles get it all together, they will be a dangerous team

You're right. It's Welker.....Unless you need him to catch a critical pass in a Super Bowl.

Good point. Jackson's caught every pass thrown to him in all the Super Bowls he's played. How many is that, again?

jack some call it the way they see it i am one of those people...Wes Welker only Excells in the Slot. Wes is a Great Slot WR and that's it. I think Devon Bess could do the same things Welker does here with Brady. Some of you would say Wes Welker is better than Megatron.

Four sentences....all completely and utterly wrong.

Oh, except for the last one. I'm sure you could find some delusional homer who thinks WW > CJ.

Coming from those who think Chad Jackson is better than Welker this garbage comes as no surprise.

I am starting to think the Patriots have the dumbest fanbase in all of football, possibly all of sports.

Welker is white, so he gets no respect as a WR. Luckily, it also means he won't get as good a contract.

This will turn out to be the worst contract signed this season. This guy flat out quit on his team, and now that he got paid he simply won't care. When a guy quits on his team when he is playing for a contract, what's he going to do now that he got paid. I'm glad he re-signed with the Eagles because I don't want him anywhere near the Pats.

Interesting debate........WW's heart, work ethic and quickness/elusiveness vs DJ's speed, talent, youth, potential and attitude.

Because of the known attitude that accompany's DJ I would tend to lean toward WW as he is the known commodity. DJ has more potential to be like a Randy Moss both in skill and attitude which can be very frustrating for a team and a fan base if the bad Randy/DJ comes out at the wrong time.

I personally think Wes is the better overall package at WR because he doesn't cause lockerroom issues. I would give up the up-side potential that comes with DJ for the stability that comes with Wes.

Note if simply looking at which player has the better overall skills associated with the WR position I believe that is DJ, however the rest of the package turns me off to him in favor of Wes.

    just my 2 cents.
