** I believe this Mock was published before the report concerning Stewart's toe injury surfaced.

The top 7 seems pretty reasonable and I'd be content with that.

i would be content with top 7 as well....

but i dont like cason going in first round...i want that kid....bad

I'd like to get him too, but I also think he should go in the first round. If the Patriots were to trade down then I'd consider him an option (some might call it a reach, but I wouldn't care, as I think he's underrated), and he could be an option for a trade up to the beginning of the second round, or the very end of the first. The Patriots have plenty of picks, and a number of those picks likely wouldn't even make the team, so I could see them packaging some of their later picks to move up for someone they like.

In my opinion Cason's one of the two best CB's in the draft, and I think he's the best CB in the draft for NE, but other teams have different needs and styles of play, so he could possibly be available at the top of round two, but I don't really expect him to be.

hmm, yea...if cason falls to early 2nd round, i see the pats giving up their second, and their 3rd to move up
