Just to get this thing done since no one seems to have ideas about the Pat's pick, and I am sick of giving up my meal times to think of alternate picks, why don't we pull a Vikings on them and just pick. All picks to be in by ten tonight, and that will be the end. I think 5 more votes would be fair.
order:
31. (94) New England

32. (95) New York Giants
33. (96) Washington
34. (97) Cincinnati
35. (98) Atlanta
36. (99) Baltimore

We still haven't addressed OLB. Darrell Robertson, Georgia Tech?

Gomez, just noticed, the Jags picked DR at 72.

Right, if you're aiming to have this finished for 10Pm tonight (which will be 3AM in the UK), I'd better post my picks. If I'm not here, please will someone pick one of the following in order? Ta muchly.

1. Wesley Woodyard
2. Brad Cottam
3. Brian Johnston
4. Jason Jones

I'm ready to go with Washington's pick as soon as the (expletive) Giants select.

WOW.. Talk about a horrible draft for the Patriots.

DRC, Curtis Lofton, Martellus Bennett, and now Donnie Avery.

Sorry, but this is just horrid IMHO and doesn't address the Pats needs on defense.

DRC - WAY over-rated. Not nearly the athelete or football player that his cousin is.

Lofton - Another over-rated player who relies too much on his instincts and not enough on the plays called.

Bennett - The Pats are going to spend a 3rd round pick on a TE who is a lousy rouote runner, though a good blocker? I just don't see it.

Avery - The Pats already are stacked at WR. Avery won't see the field this year unless there is a major injury. That is, of course, unless the Pats keep 7 WRs, but I don't see that happening.

This draft didn't address OLB, the O-line, or the depth at Corner. All areas of bigger concern than TE or WR.

In the intrest of moving this along so we can finish by the Proposed 10:00 deadline how about we vote on the Giants.

How about

Tom Zbikowski Saftey ND

Right, give the Giants a guy who will likely be available as a UDFA in the third round. The Giants, with Coughlin's BC ties, would be far more likely to take Silva than Zbikowski, and the two are very similar players (though Silva is better in my opinion, but neither deserves a pick as early as this).

I took Hefney instead, a guy who's likely to go in the second round. If trades had been allowed, I would have been on the phone with everyone at the top of the third frantically trying to get Dejuan Morgan (then again, I was absent for the first pick... never would've taken Dan Connor, would've taken Beau Bell with the first pick and Dejuan Morgan with the second, and would've even though about him with the first).

Yea, but it's the giants we're talking about

well the end is near and I wanted to get my picks in before we close.

Dustin Keller TE Purdue
Dexter Jackson WR Appalachian State
William Franklin WR Missouri

Atlanta needs a tight end so we have Keller. I also like Craig Stevens from Cal, I just don't like him this high.

Dexter Jackson I envison as a " welker like " small reciever who is really quick and can do so damage after the catch. I would have picked him at the top of the 4th round.

I think with the additions of Jake Long, Brian Bhrome, Chilo Rachal, Dustin Keller, Dexter Jackson, and Micheal Turner. That Atlanta Offense will have a whole new look.

The whole at defensive Tackle I'm trying to fill with Dre Moore. I would like Commentary on him since all I reallly know is what I've read on him. BOOM or BUST.

I think Baltimore fans would be happy with this draft. I address 3 of their biggest needs (OL, WR, and CB) with Clady, Manningham and Tribble.

Hands down the best draft was Detroit. I believe Michael Holley would give their GM and "Outstanding". I think their GM needs a round of applause. What a draft, if only Matt Millen would listen to him. He basically rebuilt their D, in 3 rounds.

... consider the source.

what's that suppose to mean?

I'm nominating myself with Buffalo for the best draft.

Nothing. I thought you were the assigned GM that Millen needed to listen to. Like Freud said, "sometimes a cigar is simply a cigar", which Belichek turned into, "it is what it is".
