I'd say it was a metric 'ten', but even the limeys got the count right... :bricks:

Except I only picked nine. D'oh. Time for an edit. I'll add Oliver Hoyte to the list.

Let's see, Living in Malaysia I haven’t watched any college football games so I can try to guess the draft picks by 1) looking at "expert" opinions, 2) reviewing the "Build your draft board" threads here and/or 3) looking at a list of the top 200 or so draft picks and randomly picking numbers (maybe after taking out the top 15 or so picks). Option #3 would probably give me just as much of a chance at winning this contest, but is not as fun. I chose option #2 with some help from www.nfldraftcountdown.com rankings and player profiles. At least this way I can pretend to know something about the Pats draft board for another two weeks.

Here goes (in no particular order) ---

1. Tye Hill (CB)
2. Bobby Carpenter (LB)
3. David Pittman (CB)
4. Tim McGarigle (LB)
5. Mike Kudla (LB)
6. Jerious Norwood (RB)
7. Maurice Drew (RB)
8. Mike Hass (WR)
9. David Thomas (TE)
10. Will Montgomery (OL)

Edited -

replaced Chad Greenway with Tye Hill

How about 10 1st day, and 10 2nd day as the tie breaker? (seeing as the best of us will only get 1 or 2)

I'll bet 1 is an impressive score in this contest! I'll bet this is also where my prediction streak comes to an end, but it's too enticing not to take part in....

Not the world's most original list, but it has its moments:

Jerious Norwood
Maurice Drew (Based on our consensus, he should go pretty high!)
Mathias Kiwanuka (Blue light special)
Bobby Carpenter
Chad Greenway (Started rising on my list lately)
Kamerion Wimbley
Darryl Tapp
Troy Reddick
Jeremy Trueblood
Patrick Ross

11th pick for tie-break purposes: Maurice Stovall (My head says yes, but on film he looks too skinny.)

Bobby Carpenter
Manny Lawson (two primary possibilities I'm expecting for round 1)
Richard Marshall
Joseph Addai (two main possibilities for round 2)
Joe Klopfenstein
David Thomas
Chris GoCong
Ryan LaCasse
Kai Parham
Jerrious Norwood (the last 6 I see as possibilities anywhere from round 3-5).

I'm rooting for
1 Bobby Carpenter (possibly trade down a bit, to get a pick to use to trade up in round 2 to get....)
2 Richard Marshall
3 Jerrious Norwood and Chris GoCong
day 2 Kai Parham, Ryan LaCasse, and David Thomas or Joe Klopfenstein. And throw in an OT, WR, and K. :)

With various people moving up and down boards lately, I want to modify my picks. Scratch Joseph Addai off my list (I think Indy will take him in round 1), and replace him with Maurice Drew, who I think could be a good option in round 3 or 4 for us. Other than that, I'm sticking with my picks - although I'm now rooting for Manny Lawson in round 1 for us instead of Carpenter (Lawson is just too good of an athlete to pass up if he's there).

I'd like to add a WR, since surely the Pats will take one (I'd like Greg Jennings at 3a perhaps). But, I'm not going to add one since I don't know who to take off that list. I'm leaning towards replacing Klopfenstein with Jennings... ah, yeah, I'll go ahead and do that. So, my list is now:

Bobby Carpenter
Manny Lawson
Richard Marshall
Maurice Drew
Greg Jennings
David Thomas
Chris GoCong
Ryan LaCasse
Kai Parham
Jerrious Norwood (the last 6 I see as possibilities anywhere from round 3-5).
