At the request of Patchick, I am bringing the Draft Day Challenge back!

The object is very simple--identify 10 players that you think will be drafted by the New England Patriots. This can be all LBs, or a spread of individual position players. It can be revised as many times as you need before draft day. Winner gets kudos and bragging rights. Defending champeen is Patchick I do believe.

Git some...

Matthias Kiwanuka
Jeremy Trueblood
Tamba Hali
Abdul Hodge
Joe Klopfenstein
Tui Lutui
Joseph Addai
Connor Hughes
Jeremy Bloom
Chris Gocong

Manny Lawson
Richard Marshall
Joseph Adai
Mike Hass
Jason Avant
Jeremy Trueblood
Mike Kudla
Pat Ross
John Jolly

Many thanks! And to be fair, I'm pretty certain it was a tie last year.

OK, here we go

Lawson
Carpenter
Greenway
Praham
Richard Marshall
Will Blackmon
Avant
Gostkowski
Babatunde Oshinowo
Skyler Green

Subject to change

Santonio Holmes
Daniel Bullocks
Mike Hass
Spencer Havner
Chric Gocong
Steve Fifita
Jovon Bouknight
Brandon Guillerry
Dyon Byrum
D'Arrius Howard

I don't know. We should probably do a 40 who WON'T be drafted.

Here's a stab. I don't see me changing it, cause then I'll really be ticked if I take a guy off who's drafted. I'll try to improve on my total of 1 from last year (Claridge):

Mike Hass
Pat Ross
Manaia Brown
Ryan LaCasse
Tim Dobbins
Cedric Griffen
Brian Iwuh
Orien Harris
Steve Fifita
David Thomas

Here's my shot at it:

Antonio Cromartie-CB Florida St.
Bobby Carpenter- LB The Ohio St.
Maurice Stovall-WR Notre Dame
Maurice Drew- RB UCLA
Chris Gocong- DE(think OLB) Cal Poly
Will Blackmon- WR/sometimes DB Boston College
Greg Blue-S Georgia
Pat Ross-C Boston College
Ryan LaCasse-DE Syracuse
Jon Huston-K The Ohio St.

Wimberely OLB FSU - HAs the siza and speed and he can rush or cover. He has the frame to play at 270 without losing any significant speed. Superb charcter.
Marshall CB FSU - Wanted a playmaker in the Pats secondary.
Whitworth ROT LSU - Nastiness is in great demand and he can supply it.
Avant WR Michigan- Excellent quickness, hands and superb character.
Drew RB UCLA - Punt returner and 3rd down specialist in grooming.
Gocong ILB Cal Poly - lacks burst but his porduction can't be overlooked.
Bouknight WR New Mexico - Excellent quickness and production and he can return kicks.
Parham ILB Virginia - 3-4 experience and insticnts.
Wyche OLB Syracuse - Size, speed and some pass rushing ability
B Johnson SS Louisville- tall ((6'5")l converted OLB with 4.4 speed. Can he bring the hammer??????

Bobby Carpenter
Manny Lawson (two primary possibilities I'm expecting for round 1)
Richard Marshall
Joseph Addai (two main possibilities for round 2)
Joe Klopfenstein
David Thomas
Chris GoCong
Ryan LaCasse
Kai Parham
Jerrious Norwood (the last 6 I see as possibilities anywhere from round 3-5).

I'm rooting for
1 Bobby Carpenter (possibly trade down a bit, to get a pick to use to trade up in round 2 to get....)
2 Richard Marshall
3 Jerrious Norwood and Chris GoCong
day 2 Kai Parham, Ryan LaCasse, and David Thomas or Joe Klopfenstein. And throw in an OT, WR, and K. :)

As I recall, Miguel was off shooting craps in some ESPN contest, while there were 2 or 3 folks with two names each, and another 10 or so with one name.
