I dont know about everyone else, but its been a ridiculously stressful 3 months. Even the past few weeks. Talking about real life.

I could use a nice relaxing game this week, kick back in the barn and watch the NEP go wild. Im not saying it will happen

But on this sunny crisp Saturday morning in New England, Im thinking that would feel good.

Anyone else feel the need for a big, overwhelming victory?

I'm enjoying the closer games although I do feel as if I'm moving closer to a stroke with every passing game.

Re: Dont we all need a good old fashioned blow out?

I have a chronic cough when the Pats play close games. I

need a blow out so I can relax and stop coughing.

How about....**** yes.

Holiday finals, shopping, the stress needs to chill for a week. I just hope and pray SF can do it one more time, thats all I beg for this weekend. PLEASE.

Never heard of that one. You should have that looked at.

I don't care if we get a huge win or win by 3 points in overtime.

However a blow out will help me in the predict the score contest.

Not even a blowout, I would give anything for a 2 score lead perhaps. Last week I couldn't eat all day till maybe 9 pm:(

How are the blow outs old fashioned? These close games are vintage pats Brady Belichick pats games

i miss 07 season. 09 is around the corner.

Re: Dont we all need a good old fashioned blow out?

The problem with blowouts is that they usually are followed by disappointing performances. We can't afford that against Arizona next week. Just win baby...That's all I care about.

Re: Dont we all need a good old fashioned blow out?

If the Jets and Dolphins would lose I wouldn't care if we won by 1.

Re: Dont we all need a good old fashioned blow out?

Talking about wanting Blow Out wins is BAD karma - Remember the thread days before the first meeting with Miami that talked about would Cassel sit in garbage time and O'Connell would finish if NE had a blow out? - And what happened in that game?

How about hoping to just winning the game? - Oakland is not a sure win,Ask teams that are likely to make the postseason like the Jets and Denver

Re: Dont we all need a good old fashioned blow out?

A blow out against Oakland would definitely make me feel better...

While I would love a real blow out a win by 1 as some said is just as good....NO style points..

This year reminds me of pre-2007 Patriots, when it seemed that the game plan was to keep it close, and then have the other team make a mistake late in the fourth quarter.

This year the Pats have made the mistakes and have had horrible luck. Secnd Jets game, with the coin toss, win hte game. In fact, hte horrible luck started with the non-Asante non-Mrerrieather interceptions on the final drive, the non-holding call on the helmet catch, and the helmet catch itself.

Looks like luck is evening out from 2001. ANyone remember the unconscious David Patten's head rolling out of bounds as the ball touched his leg inbounds?
