This is a child welfare case, if they do not comply he should be removed as the parents are neglecting this kids needs.. they belong to something called Nemenha Band..

Hope the parents take a big drink of the purple kool aid..

    How insane is this?

These "parents" can do what they like, but to bring their kid up in this insane religion (redundant, I know) is egomania gone crazy, man.

They should be injected with cancer cells into their bone marrow and see how "religulous" they are.

They can't co-exist because both rule out the possibility of the other.

This is certainly not true. Many hold them separately together. Science is concerned with the natural world and religion the metaphysical. There's no union there.

Imo good for the parents, its there RIGHT TO CHOOSE!

Just because you believe differently dosen't make you right and them wrong, if they don't want to get chemo for there child and the child dosen't want in either good for them, I have the right to choose if I want to live or not, other ppl or the news or religions or goverment should have no say in it at all.

You don't like it, move to russia or china I hear they love to tell you what you can and can't do..........and mabey America soon : /

Except that it's criminally negligent, child abuse, and arguably murder. Hodgkin's lymphona is very treatable.

It is not there right to choose whether their child lives or dies.

Really? I never thought you would have that opinion. No difference between this and abortion, both which are obviously wrong.

stop with the Russia and China hysteria.. it means nothing here except shows what little you know..

The child welfare system is in place to deal with parents who cannot take care of their children properly, either because they abuse or neglect them.. they do not have right to make this decision for an illiterate 13 year old.. any court in the country would probably rule this way..

What is the difference with this and a parent who refuses to treat a serious case of scabies or a parent who does not provide for a hemophiliac child who is bleeding???.. the mother running away with the child is a pretty idiotic thing to do.. they will show up somewhere.

Every once and a while a religious sect pops us that advocates for sexual relations with a minor child.. according to your formula this is ok, because their religion says so????
