Do righties go to Canada after elections?

Seriously ... looks like my business will have to go in the red for 4 years so I won't get whacked. :p spend lot's of $$$ on infrastructure ... beefing up depreciation which lessens what I make on my Schedule 'C' ;). Lots of business owners will do this hoping a republican gets back in next election.

Let's see, should we trust the non-partisan Tax Policy Center or what right wing propaganda site, "American Thinker" and our ever-disingenuous right wing moderator Michael think? Thankfully, most people with brains will go with the former....

It doesn't even pass the sniff test that everyone making under $200K will get several thousand back and it will all be paid for by those making over $250K. $250K is somewhere around the top 2% and it just doesn't add up that the bottom 98% will all get these big tax reductions from just the top 2%; especially without it hurting in other ways including higher prices to offset the new taxes. And that's just income tax, it doesn't begin to touch capital gains and dividends which a LOT of people under $100K pay from mutual funds or other investments.

This does not address the fact that Obama is going to let all of the Bush
tax cuts expire at the end of 2010.

It may be true that in 2009 & 2010, factcheck is correct.
Add the 2011 tax increase to everyone, factcheck is wrong on this issue.

Keep lying. Obama has said he is going to extend the tax cuts for middle income families. If you have any evidence to the contrary, I challenge you to post it.

    Wildo........ Thank you.......

I have posted multiple times on this board asking if Obama was going to
extend the Bush tax cuts for middle income families. I have seen a few right
wing sites that say he is going to let all of the tax cuts expire. Someone
made a post saying that Biden said that they were going to let all of the tax
    cuts expire (no link).

That look's like a respectable link..... thank you.
It makes me feel better heading into election day.

Only time will tell.... but it gives me hope.

I can live with the capital gains increase.
Most of my investments are long term investments

we will find out in on tuesday if your BS fear-spin works on anyone who posts here. I doubt it. This is the end.

I suppose you believe that the economy as produced by a republican neoconservative majority who have fucused on deregulation WORKS????

I suppose you think the $700 Billion Bailout will pay for itself, and we will not have to pay for it.

I suppose you think budget surplusses are bad.

    get real.

Except that it won't do dick to increase revenue.

About 80% of capital gains for the next 5-6 years can be found in a big yellew puddle somewhere on wall street, thanks the the crooks who live there and their crooked Washington enablers.

Sure, taxe the "rich" all you want, except that there are a whole FUKCLOAD less rich people then there were a few months back. In order to remotely pay for half the stuff Obama wants you'll have to do 1-2 things. 1) find a way to "give" all the people that lost that cash their money back so you can "tax" it, or 2) Redefine "RICH", and tax the sh!t out of it.

Anyone believe it's gonna be choice #1.

Again, Republican talking points just don't mesh with the non-partisan Tax Policy center:

According to who; Annenberg Fact Check.............. Hmmmm, Annenberg? Why does that name sound so familiar.........

Besides, as typical, you are full of sh!t. I wasn't talking REMOTELY about the initial article. I actually agree that it's crap. My post IS the new reality. It's non-partison, and straight fact.

Our economy is in the SHYTTER........ DEEP, and will be for a while to come. So that means 1) Obama isn't gonna be able to do 1/4 of the stuff he wants to, or 2, he's gonna have to find a way to tap in to the po'folks rich people (the 140k-200k) , cuz after the azz raping the 200K-500K folks just took, that teet is a little dried up at the moment, Me thinks he'll go for #2 (oh shyte, that's me).

Live in your dream world if you want, but don't think the rest of us do.

For the record. McCain didn't/doesn't have the first clue either on this crap.
