I was in a discount book store today and found a nice book about the history of the Super Bowl, produced by the NFL. Really good book.
Anyway, after hearing Don Shula's ornery cheap shots at the Patriots last year, I was surprised to read what he said about BB in 2003 after the Patriots 2nd SB victory:
"The thing I'm impressed with, more than anything, is the way he handled the 2003 season. He had a lot of injuries. He had alot of situations he had to overcome, but you never heard any excuses. You never heard him complaining about anything."
Is this the exception to the rule. or did Shula not become cranky until the 16-0 run?
