New 1 round mock from Don Banks at CNNSI:

2010 NFL Mock Draft, with Ndamukong Suh going to Rams - Don Banks - SI.com

He has the Pats taking Sergio Kindle at 22. Amongh is interesting choices:

- Carlos Dunlap #6 to Seattle. That seems high right now.
- Denver taking WR Dez Bryant at 10.
- Rolando McClain going #12 to the Phish.
- CJ Spiller going #14 to Seattle.
- Jason Pierre-Paul going #15 to the Giants.
- Everson Griffen going #17 to Tennessee.
- Pittsburgh taking Brian Bulaga #18.
- Kyle Wilson going #19 to Atlanta as the #2 CB after Joe Haden.
- Mike Iupati going #27 to Dallas.
- Dan Williams going #30 to Minnesota.

No Terrance Cody or Brandon Graham in the 1st round.

I'm not wild about it.

I get the impression that this is going to be a great draft because after every mock posters respond with "well what about this guy"? A lot of good players are going to slip to the second round.
Players like Golden Tate, Brandon Graham, Terrence Cody and more could slip to the second round. If there was a good year to have 3 2nd round picks it is the is year.

I's trade down in this draft, although Greshem or Williams would be reasonable picks. The blue-chippers are gone.

I think we've seen a lot of drafts with Cody out of the first. In essence, he has been relaced by Dan Williams.

Doesn't Kindle fit the physical mold that BB is looking for? 6-4, 255 lbs?

I don't think those numbers are accurate. No way Kindle is 255. He's gotta be more around 240. He was more of a speed rusher in college who doesn't really have a lot of bulk.

We'll see where Kindle weighs in at the combine. He was rumored to be closer to 6'4" 240# playing weight than 255#. And his production has been inconsistent. But he's certainly a possibility. I just am not sure he's the best player available at 22.

What's your take on Kindle? I know on CBS Draft Scout they compared him to Shawn Crable. I'm not a huge fan of Kindle at 22. Maybe in the 2nd round if he fell.

As soon as Kindle runs a 4.4 40, he will be a top 20 pick, if not top 15 pick, no? How does he compare to Terrell Suggs?

Everson Griffen going #17 to Tennessee.
I have Griffen as a potential target at #22 along w/ Jared Odrick.

Kyle Wilson going #19 to Atlanta as the #2 CB after Joe Haden

I have Wilson as a hopeful target in round two.

What scares me is if it works out this way and the Phins get McClain and the Colts Odrick. Talk about it working out!

Really seems like there are a plethora of DE's, DT's + OLB/DE mixs to choose from. I'm having a bit of trouble wrapping my hands around who's legit and who's a poser. Add the unpredictability of the 21 picks ahead of the Patriots and the unpredictability of BB's willingness to trade (back, usually) and it makes it difficult to really even see how viable or impossible each of these mocks are right now.

Obviously there's a lot of time between now and the draft for players to improve their stock or sink further into the draft as well, which makes a lot of the predicting now a bit futile (yet fun).
