Hillary plants question in Republican debate
Posted by: Jonathan Garthwaite at 10:41 PM

It turns out that Keith Kerr, retired Colonel., U.S. Army; retired Brigadier General, California National Reserve, who submitted a YouTube question about gays in the military, is actually a member of Hillary Clinton's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual Americans For Hillary Steering Committee. He's also part of a film production crew trying overturn the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.

You know Fog, the General apparently belongs to the Log Cabin Republicans, and says the question wasn't planted. I don't think Hillary did anything wrong; and even if she did try to plant a question, then she was smart. (What was the question? I can't find it? Was it a difficult one that put Republicans on the spot?) At any rate, CNN should be very embarrassed by their mistake. It wouldn't have even been wrong to have Kerr ask the question, but they should have known and made clear his affiliation.

Ron Paul wins again... as the others stumble all over eachother in various support for the Bush Doctrine...

of course, all the 24 percenters want to talk about is the gay general who put them all on the spot... and somehow laughably blame the Clintons in the process...

this debate was poor, overall... and very few of the questions cut to the core of corporate america and the real ills of this country...

I don't know if this guy is a Log Cabinite or not, but if he is then it is perfectly unstandable that he would seek to undermine the mainstream of the Republican Party by trying to embarrass them. And that is EXACTLY what the Clintons are all about. So, bottom line, CNN's apology for allowing this "plant" to speak is correct: he was there more as a representative of the Clintons than as a mainstream Republican.

I am willing to bet a lifetime ban on this board, that the republican nominee gets at least 2x that in the general election. Put up or shut up, dumbass!

Not that I give a crap anymore, because both parties will steall my money for those who are lazy, but your shtick is getting old, cut and paste from truthout.org, 24% , Bush is bad, blah, blah, blah................:blahblah:

I only caught the last 30-40 minutes or so, but I heard it didn't cover some pressing issues like Iran & healthcare.

BTW, what are the real ills of the country in your eyes?

Now people, flip the particulars, like say Hillary for Giuliani, and tell me what you think Patters' position would be?

Well Patters turns out this guy was involved directly in the Kerry campaign, has endorsed Hill are was flown to the event by CNN. Hardly sounds like a log cabin pubbie. Do you have documentation for you claim?

The Clinton campaign admits he is affilated but say they didn't plant him of at the debate. Big surprise there.

The pattern we are seeing is more interesting IMO. We now see Dem operatives planted in CNN debates to 'ask questions' of the dem operatives. I suppose this explains why the dems want to appear on CNN rather than Fox where they might get an unscripted question. Pathetic

This is another example of the shameless bias towards the left of the MSM. If the pubbies were found to be using scripted questions and plants in their debates and of a new network was involved the MSM would be screaming bloody murder, since it is the dems........silence.

Uh-h-h, that Hillary is "good" and Giulliani is "bad"?? Not sure what kind of fantisized (il)logic our Patters would resort to, but I am sure he would come to this conclusion.

You must be very young, especially if you ask that kind of question about Clinton.

Age is irrelevant to the question I asked.

Harryboy said he can not stand clinton.

I asked why.

He said because he's dishonest.

I asked about what lie would harry so despise clinton.

I would like to know, what lie could trigger that kind of hatred.
