You have a U.S. installed democracy, that Iraq is unable to properly protect from anarchy and takeover without the U.S. military. I know they say we've been training the iraq'ies for 3 years and at some point the U.S. will not be needed. I don't know about that one, sounds good, I don't believe it.

Then you have IRAN and SYRIA sharing the border with IRAQ.

    Any thoughts ??

Wait a minute! Uncle Rummy said we'd be out in six months, so we should be done by January. We'd be out if this country would wake up and stop voting for republicrats.

Instead of 3 years I'm thinking 3 bases.

1 - near Basra ... but this could be a British base also...actually probably.
2- near the airport...we're already there.
3- In the North...I'm thinking between Baghdad and Mosul...not to close to Iran or Syria but actually within striking distance to the Caspian Sea area...my old Asia posts still alive.

From High confidence that WMD'S are in iraq.
To we will be greeted as liberators.
    To mission accomplished.
To we will be out in 6 months.
And here we are today with those 4 above statements untrue and Iraq is an anchor on american lives and budget.

Why would we have spent all that money on huge bases fitted with fast food and all if we were planning on leaving? Even as bad on economics as these heels are running the show, they would not invest such money if we were to just be planning on upping and leaving.

We will be there until the american people revolt. Its not like Vietnam...its worse.

Thank the neo-con scum and every willfully ignorant "con" that thought they were voting for a conservative.
