Do you read (post) on other Patriot forums?

Almost never. For better or for worse, you'e stuck with me here!

Yes

.............

I was very active originally on KFFL but essentially transferred here a couple years ago. I still occasionally visit, particularly the general forum which gives you a feel for views across all the teams. But over 75% of my internet sports time is spent here and links from here.

Usually no, except when PF is down for some reason like big news....or a game.

Hopefully those issues will be resolved heading into the season.

I see alot of the same folks at the other Patriot forum, and I see them getting the business over there just like they do here...that's what happens when ya know EVERYTHING!! ;)
I don't post there, I just read and watch folks argue about who is the smartest....
I'll leave it at that.

No, I do not have the time to do so.

I was on another forum and people kept referencing breaking news from threads on this site so I thought I would just save the step and join here.

Wait....

Is that "not so great" comment a subtle dig at a member who shall remain nameless?
Folks can dig their own holes, subtle or otherwise.

I read PP, but not as much as here. I post there very infrequently. I read JI for fun and frustration.

No. I read others on occasion and VERY occasionally post when patsfans is down.

:ditto:

Member of PP, go there if I need a fix and this site is down. I have ~5000 posts here and >50 there, so that tells you my ratio.

It depends on the definition of "you".

Truth is if I am trying to get caught up on Patriot news I look here even before PFT or Boston.com, or Weei or any news sites because I know the members of this site are scouring the web looking for stories, so any breaking news will be on here within 2 minutes regardless. I think that if we could all just get along and respect others opinions and not attack posts and threads with insults and rude remarks this site would be perfect.

No, I like it here.

Well done Ian and crew.:)

I spend most of my time at JI, but I am a member on at least 30 other boards, mostly football sites.

I post at footballguys.com which isn't Pats-centric (or even NFL-centric per se as it's main focus is fantasy football), but there are nuggets of wisdom for all teams, including the Pats.

Patsfans.com is tops for Pats info as the posters here are very knowledgable. I used to post a ton at the Pats usenet group because there was room for more info. Here, I see a topic, have a point all lined up to add and find out as I read the thread that someone beat me to the punch, so I'm left with nothing to say.

Regards,
Chris

That approach makes you somewhat unique

If by "Patriot forums", you mean "pornographic websites" and if by "read" you mean "watch", then yes.

Sure, I read and post regularly on another board. I don't consider that forum any better or worse than patsfans, merely different, like the difference between Jazz and Country. Both offer great music, and some not so great. You pick your own poison and sit back to enjoy it.

Pretty much sums it up. I don't post on Planet as often, but its good in its own right, and in a very different way than Patsfans.

.. What you said. Every board has its own feel and it's good to take advantage of that.

Yeah, I used to post in the usenet group too and feel the same way. Usenet was more interesting for the off topic posts, and there were some classic trolls like good ol' Bobby Jensen who were good for a laugh. But too much spam, then the Patriots actually started winning, and the trolling got way out of hand so I stopped. Does it still exist?
